So I made some fucking rum balls. My mother was in town and I thought it would be festive. I've seen rum balls, but I've never tasted one. The ones I made from this recipe were very delicious, but they were more candy than cookie. Kind of wet. What should the consistency be once everything is mixed? BTW--so far the doorman and the Australians down the hall say thumbs up, but I'm just not sure I've got the real deal.
