Back when I was much younger and still new to baking, I used to sometimes be too eager and would apply my icing before my girlfriend's cookies were quite ready. With a good deal of patience and understanding over the course of numerous baking sessions we eventually overcame that problem though.

Cookies are fun to bake this time of year. However, a crinkle top gingerbread cookie instead of a rolled one would be interesting.
