Just did a superficial check on big box stores and Home Despot appears (at first glance anyway) to be a bit more backing of Democratic Party candidates than the Lowes or Menards - check https://www.thebalance.com/...
I know that Menards, on the other hand, is notoriously right wing enabling.
Ms. Gnome makes jewelry and buys copper wire from the electrical department of Home Depot for her jewelry. We've found it's easier for me to buy the wire, because, if she tries to, some male employee is more likely to try to talk her out of it. Just a girl, you know.
I've been harassed in 3 out of the 5 jobs I've ever had. And those are just the instances I remember. When I was younger, I put up with a lot of crap without even realizing it was harassment, because that's just what has been normalized for women.
And yet, women get called bitches when they turn a man down in any way other than nice and polite. It's a conditioned response to assholes who can't take no for an answer. Fellas, police your own damn gender and stop blaming us for having vaginas.

This is true. I've had two jobs where I was harassed, the perpetrators were laid off, and I then found out that they had been doing that to other women too. I never want to rock the boat, but sometimes you have to. Hopefully next time I'll be braver.
