When I started voting in Kentucky back in 1976, you registered to vote by signing a card. Then on election day, you had to sign your name in the big voting book next to your registration signature. That was IT. No ID, no questions, no nothing. Every election, primary, special or general, same thing. Just sign your name in the box next to the last signature you made. Yep, looks the same. Anything else is BULLSHIT.
This is why the polls that so wrongly forecast the demise of Collins in the last election sucked. I think anyway, that it discouraged heavy D turnout there.
Ta, Liz. I found out Monday that I have today off work in honor of Juneteenth. When we were on the Monday Zoom that spelled it out, at the end of the meeting, as always, we were asked if anyone had anything to add. I piped up and said Friday off was a great opportunity to vote early, and today for the first time in my life I did just that. Prior to today, I always voted on Election Day, which is only a holiday in my network for presidential election years. For the first time ever, I got to select candidates in ranked choice.
He isn't playing chess, he is very serious. Look at that leaked phone call, he is hot for the filibuster.

High bar set for Fetterman.
Oh dear, I fear our esteemed Editrix's call for civil discourse has foundered on the reefs.
Do you have another candidate in mind? Who should be support?
Wait Joe Manchin does a GOOD thing? Take it where you can get it.

No I don't. I'm not in Pennsylvania.
I hope that someone in PA can do better.
Seldom a bad idea.

Or, he could be proposing something he knows has no chance of passing, just to make himself look good.
Doesn't get that the 15 minutes are up, eh?
A low hurdle for sure.
2 years seems like a pretty good run for a Stormtrooper?
Are you saying that I'm short for a Stormtrooper?
