The truly fun part is discovery.

When the GOP "oversteps their powers," I'm reminded of that old spelling tip-- "There's a rat in separate."

Technically, the Judge did not deny the request, she set the issue for a hearing after Jordumb was served with the Complaint and motion to give them a week to respond and oppose. Due Process mus be observed at all times. Federal judges are fussy like that.

Michigan State grad here, and I share in the anti-Buckeye invective tossing. When I was a freshman, lo these many years ago, we had a home game against Michigan on TV. Some people from my dorm liberated some sheets, painted them with "Bo, eat my shorts. Send leftovers to Woody." and paraded them across the end zone in the hopes that the cameras would catch them. I haven't changed my opinion in the years since.

To be fair, I think he's referring to the crime being covered up that boosts the falsifying business records misdemeanor to a low-level felony. It is my understanding that the enhancement crime need not be prosecuted itself.

"Jordan" is old English slang for a pisspot. (Allegedly from the jars that pilgrims to the Holy Land used to take to fill with water from the River Jordan.)

"...he points to ... multiple Supreme Court precedents..."

As if the current SCOTUS respects Supreme Court precedents

Holy crap, that's me but I was younger than that and was using my other hand to defeat the child proof plugs my father had installed in the house so I wouldn't do that when I did that. In some ways, I suspect I was destined to be an electrical engineer from a very young age.

Judge Aileen Cannon may have inadvertently punched Trump in the nuts.

If she'd given a distinctly, but only faintly whiffy decision, it would have been difficult to push against it and that level of partisan ruling would have become the baseline. Instead, she threw SUCH a turd in the punchbowl that she became a horrible warning. No one else wants that smoke.

A friend in my music degree cohort had an addendum to Rule 34 - "If it exists, there's metal music of it". I didn't believe him at first, but a mountain of YouTube links forced me to reluctantly admit he appears correct.

You think he's thought further than "embarrassing Bragg"?

My illustrative analogy is snakehandling. I'm okay with them handling snakes at their services. However, they have to follow safety regulations concerning the care of the snakes, and have to treat them humanely. It's admirable if their usage of snakes inspires them to seek to preserve snake habitats. However, if they have a retail store open to the public, they can't have loose snakes roaming around the store and they can't prohibit my service mongoose!

Do you think he 'thought'? That would require a brain, not a retransmitter

yes and your system does not punnish them for their treason.
