Sorry to hear about the pain issue. I realize you need immediate help, but making a real stink at the ER is the only thing I can come up with. You might have more luck seeing (or agreeing to be seen by) a pain clinic Dr. as they in some states are the only people who can prescribe certain med. This is particularly true in states with recognized opiate issues.
