Why are we negotiating with terrorists? Meadows sits his ass in the chair and starts testifying or he gets a criminal referral for contempt. Final offer.

How’s that for negotiating?

No. Never accept that it's already too late. Remember, it's always darkest before the dawn. In every superhero/action movie the villain always does his worst and all seems lost for the hero(es) before the hero(es) win. Even in real life, narcissists always act their worst before they give in. Toddlers throwing temper tantrums always scream loudest before they give in. All is not lost yet. Not by a long shot. I firmly believe that.

Chris Miller, Acting NSI, was already sweating noticeably in early questioning. He had lots to do with the poor response time, no doubt about it. He will for sure go down for dereliction of duty, but I wonder if he has the forbearance to take the bid, do the time, and wait for his pardon. He reads as ... flighty.

Barr seems to have a good idea of what was going on, and washed his hands of it, but still stayed mum, so as good as covered it up for them.

I think Pompeo is dirty, but smart enough to keep his hands clean, even when stealing rare and expensive Japanese whisky. He will skate, but he's one to watch. Has cultivated some interesting authoritarian friends overseas, quid pro bro.
