I would request that the Californians moving here spread themselves out a little better if they want to blue the place up. Austin is already liberal, y'all.
I know a lot of people who hated Trump, but thought Hogan was a true moderate and voted for him. I found it shocking at the time. These people want to pretend that gives us balance or some bullshit.
I honestly didn't realize that a police bill of rights was a thing. Interesting the way this bill of rights seems to protect the police against reprisal's for their actions. Many cops seem to act with impunity.
May I respectfully suggest that any Maryland police officer whose morale has been destroyed by the new law should resign and make room for officers who are willing to bear the awful burden of accountability and maintaining due process?
(No, I don't think he's actually a Klansman, but it's something to have fun with. Like how "Gilligan's Island" was all about a drug deal gone bad, which explains the Minnow going well off course, the suitcases of money, the "professor" to test the drugs, etc.)
It's not the first time. The same explanation was offered by BART police officer Johannes Mehserle after he shot and killed a man named Oscar Grant III on New Year's Day 2009. Grant was lying on his face with his hands cuffed behind his back. Mehserle was eventually convicted of involuntary manslaughter and served 11 months in prison.
Nothing changes until they start firing and prosecuting police for infractions.
Anthony Brown assumed he'd win. No campaigning. And that's why we have fuckcing Larry Hogan.
Recognized malchik from A Clockwork Orange. It's what Alex called his droogs.
Yup. Never set foot in Montgomery County, only campaigned in PG and Baltimore.

Kasich did sign the Medicaid extension, so I guess that's "reasonable". Although nowadays that's probably outrageously sozliaztic.

Thank you SO much!
Are cops now refusing to make stops or arrests for fear of being prosecuted?

Ah, Maryland, where a cop who's about to testify in a corruption case is shot in the back of the head, and it's ruled "suicide."

“That's more than enough time to get your story straight and adapt it to the stage.”
May your deep well of with never run dry, Mr. Robinson, and thanks for another great piece.
A retired Klansman because he achieved his goal.

Sometimes I love this state to pieces, and sometimes I want to set it on fire and give it a viking funeral.
