I am sure were he on the 2016 ticket, Republicans would wipe aside their "mayors and governors are Jesus" argument they made in the last two presidential elections and claim he lacks the qualifications to hold the top job.

I am not sure I like his chances for VP. Except for the time Sargent Shriver replaced Senator Eagleton, every Democratic running mate picked since Harry Truman has been a Senator.

I've seen O'Malley described as a rather uninspiring speaker. Perhaps he should do all his speeches as intros.

Also, I quite liked the little fill lick the bonist did that was "and the rockets' red glare".

Setting aside his obvious lack of executive experience, O'Malley is also not Christian enough to be President, having been raised a Catholic in Maryland, that infamous haven of Papistry.
