When equality feels like oppression, it’s because privilege finally got a mirror.

Matt Walsh isn’t afraid of being oppressed.

He’s afraid of losing immunity.

I was going to say, it's certainly revealing that they hear the term "oppressor" and immediately think "hey, they're talking about me!" and get offended.

As they say, the hit dog hollers*

*We need another analogy that doesn't involve hitting dogs though

I've always had kins of a hard-on for the North Star State* ever since my beloved Washington Senators abandoned me for the Twin Cities.

* There's some joke about The Hard-on Collider lurking in there, but I'm too lazy to tease it out.

White people do get oppressed, but only the poor ones, and they get just as much oppressed as other poor people. To quote Warren Buffet "There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning."

What would you do if it was you hanging up on that wall?

As a member of the white delegation, we'll trade Matt Walsh for a Nicki Minaj or Snoop to be named later.

By now it's clear that this isn't just Shambles' mess anymore. Too many in the GOP and the MAGA are executing policy and taking permissions and Shambles is the perfunctory but useful beard. The dynamic front man. The hand puppet who lives for the feel of someone's fingers up his cottage cheese n' custard backside. Shambles is the diet-coke-and-cheeseberder-filled early onset pustule that is the symbol and symptom of systemic, land-fill scale decay, avarice, hatred, and greed that made America barely great enough to abandon every decent impulse, principle, and aspiration it struggled to be built upon. Shambles is but one toothless old viper curled on the Head of the Republican / MAGA Medusa. (Be sure to note the last three letters)

Some of us remember the earth shattering way that Rickey Martin rocked the Grammys in 1999.

Bad Bunny did that at the Super Bowl.

You missed a [sic]: '...if anyone on this earth deserves to be made fun of its the people...'

Yes, that's pretty much it: right-wingers are almost always deeply offended when they find that they don't have everyone else's approval for offending people. I've said often that to them, the First Amendment means "I have the right to say anything I want, and you're required to agree with me. If you don't, you're messing with my sacred right to free speech."

So we should go from WASP to WASH (white anglo-saxon hatred) or WASS (xxx stupidity) or WAST (white anglo-saxon trumpism) ... or maybe WASTE -- What A Shithead Team Exists!

A better metric might be that percentage of Democrats, and of Repuglicans, that is/are comprised of minorities.

Calling racist content “harmless jokes” isn’t a defense — it’s a choice about what kind of norms you tolerate. Minimizing racist imagery while dismissing real concerns is exactly how fringe rhetoric Seeps into the center of politics.

Early pictures of Matt Walsh shows a man with a round "baby" face and brown hair. Not only did he grow a beard to change the contour of his face, but he's dyed it black as well. He's about as authentic a role model for white men as is JD Vance.
