Yes, one dog and one cat. If I misrepresented, I did not intend to.

Oh no, you did not.... I just saw a few posts about kitties and no mention of doggo so I wanted to be sure I wasn't blind.. :)

Two kitties enter!

One kitty leaves... still looking sad and depressed, while the other desperately tries to pretend everything is all right.

Yep, that sounds accurate.

Life in a bipetual household.

The Bop of Disapproval should be treated as a warning shot, especially when tails are involved, even in wee kittens...

Seldom has the difference between cats and dogs been more starkly illustrated.

DOGGO: PLAY WITH ME! PLAY WITH ME!

CATTO: Don't touch me, you little shit. Fuck off, you yappy bastard.

"Well, he was getting credible death threats at the time, turns out. He’s still a coward and a bastard, but that’s context."

Many came to serve when that meant receiving extremely credible death threats from people in various parts of Asia. You would xxxthinkxxx hope swearing in as a Senator would imply at least the level of commitment as taking the enlistment oath.

It's almost unbearable to watch this lying Georgia piece of shit, all dressed in Confederate gray down to his Hokas, smirk at the question about tyranny and then draw an equivalency to Biden. Patrick Henry's descendant was much nicer to this anti-American than Patrick Henry would have been.

IMO, the goal is to totally fuck with mail-in voting. The Orange Shitstain wants to end it because he thinks it somehow favors Democrats. Forget that our military stationed abroad have no other way of voting.

I hope/expect Patel will take the jerk-off option, perfectly showing how he IS what he DOES. Think too that the Republican congress (and several sinema-like Dems) secretly want to join him and that's the deal they made and a deal's a deal. They ARE pervs. Me too, but my fantasy has to do with them and blow-jobbing EACH OTHER and IN PRISON. But that's just me.😉🌹

Why not just get the worst human imaginable to marry Elon, leave him (because they all do eventually), and then he can go on a temper tantrum by helping homeless people, funding childhood cancer research, and championing immigrant rights to spite his ex?

Today's missive:

Dear Colleagues,

It is my honor to serve as the {head of agency} and to continue my obligation to the American people to protect [as if]. As we carry out our important work, the public must have the utmost confidence that we do so free of conflicts of interest and with their best interests in mind.

For this reason, it is important that we review and observe our ethical obligations. The 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct (pdf) set the framework for the executive branch ethics program and the ___ ethics officials are available to assist you in understanding and abiding by these critical principles.

To be ethical not only means following the rules but striving to exceed these standards and prevent even the appearance of impropriety.

Some important rules to remember are:

We may not engage in outside activities and employment that conflict with our official duties.

We may not hold conflicting financial interests.

We may not misuse our government title, resources, time, or any authority associated with our official position for our own benefit or the benefit of others.

We may not represent others in our personal capacities before federal agencies or courts, with limited exceptions.

We may not accept gifts from regulated entities or those offered because of our official position, with limited exclusions and exceptions.

We may not disclose non-public information to unauthorized persons or use the information for our benefit or the benefit of others.

We must complete all financial disclosure reporting and ethics training requirements in a timely manner, among other obligations.

For more information, check out the ___ Ethics website, where you can also locate your ethics officials and find answers to how the ethics rules apply to you.

In addition, it is important that we abide by the Hatch Act and related regulations regarding when and how we can engage in political activity, none of which is permitted in the federal workplace, on government time, or using your official authority or official title. For more information about the Hatch Act, visit the Office of Special Counsel website or contact your ethics official.

Sincerely, ...

At least there's kittens.

Short Fingers and the USPS - just gonna do what Republicans have wanted to do for decades: get rid of the USPS and privatize the whole thing. Just because a system has been working for longer than the country existed (we copied from Mother England), means nothing. They hate it, because THEY can't profit from it. And Republicans are all about Power, Party, and Pelf.
