If you see gun humper and take offense, that is kind of on you.Seriously, there does not need to be a #notall! whine every time someone says something snarky, does there?

A Good Guy With a Gun becomes a Bad Guy With a Gun when law enforcement shows up and sees several people shooting.....

Jell-O shots while shooting, threatening violence if you don’t get your way, and claiming that the popularity of a gun is more important than the safety of the people are the three signs of a responsible gun owner.

It’s not as much of a threat for white people to be shot by cops, so why would Megan care.

I mean this in a nice way, but Meghan McCain is a horrifically stupid dingbat. No one needs a mass-murder weapon, you silly spoiled bitch.

It's just a habit from years of checking my browser bookmarks, but every day I do end up checking the badly written piece of shit blog Raw Story. Where they are obsessed with whatever Meghan McCain says every day, it's lazily highlighted as a top story. Every single day. RS is allegedly Progressive but clickbaity and a crime against editing, grammar, and spelling. I'm banned from commenting there because I objected to the endless stories of hideous child abuse they really went for a few years ago. It seemed exploitative and not progressive news- now they have iPhone videos of every scuffle in a fast-food restaurants after midnight that has even a tinge of racism for their exploitation-bait. Funnily enough after I complained (and was banned) they stopped their garish exploitation of child-abuse stories.

Anyway, Raw Story is a pile of unreadable and poorly written barely readable shit, but one thing you can be assured of is that they will report every day on what garbage came out of Meghan McCain's mouth that day. Like she was a head of state, RS really needs you to read her nonsense bullshit every single day. I don't know why they do this.

she is odd, a coddled, privileged person who never has had to worry about anything in her life, she strikes me as someone who doesn't really know whos she is so shes become this cutout republican but the issues she claims to care about abortion, healthcare not being a right and freedom guns will never affect her

Two things are obvious here.Stephen Robinson is literate and rational.Meghan McCain is childish and self-centred.

Near as I can tell, the South won that war--at least it didn't force them to acknowledge the humanity of black people. And they've run American politics since about 1875.

And if we don't divide the country, how do we get rid of the people who insist on taking humanity back to the Bronze Age?

I get what you mean. It's a bit like Christians. Sure the ones we hear from are the loudmouthed bigots, but most of them, I assume, are good people.

(Joking, most ARE good people, just couldn't resist.)

I didn't see gun humper and take offense, I saw someone alienating a lot of voters who might help us change things in this country and gave a rhetorical critique.

Why dont you go try to convince people that climate change is real by calling them idiots, or end hate by shaming bigots? It won't work, but what does that matter if you're factually right and viscerally satisfied.

Jello shots and guns? What could possibly go wrong!!

I think Megs and her normal, very not gay husband (Who's a homo?! I'm not a homo, you're a homo! NO HOMO!!) are the new archetype of the upwardly mobile, 21st-Century redneck couple who just like to get loaded on jello shots and blow the shit out of stuff with AR-15s during their spare time. Great substitute for lousy sex.
