The ones who gave the insurrectionists personal guided tours the night before, then showed up on the day with guns they knew that they didn't need to protect themselves need to be drawn and quartered.

Pretty sure some of these newbies can barely find the bathroom, let alone intelligently debate or understand legislative work. Reminds me of a quote from one of those”funny things people actually said” calendars: “ We didn’t send you to Washington to make intelligent decisions. We sent you to represent us.”

Has this stupid bitch never gone to a concert, sporting event or flown on a commercial plane?

Was watching the "History of Swear Words" on Netflix the other day and they mentioned a South African insult that translated to: "I hope your fingers turn to fish hooks and your balls start to itch"

roflmao. btw: how is the show? on my todo list. Cage seems like a good choice, besides, he needs money to feed his rare reptiles, though he does look like Wil Wheaton a bit.

"For members of Congress to enter the floor of the U.S. House, we now have to go through intense security measures, on top of the security we already go through. These new provisions include searches and being wanded like criminals. We now live in Pelosi's communist America!"

Yeah, tell it to all the women trying to get a legal medical procedure, honey.

This woman is a vet and uses the word ‘reconnaissance’ for a reason. There is plenty of evidence there were multiple inside sources for assistance with the insurrection. Some of the fools aren’t even trying to hide it. There’s also a picture floating around of Boebert with some of the insurrectionists from back in December. This isn’t simply a matter of Republicans throwing tantrums at metal detectors and thumping the 2nd Amendment. There are quite literal threats within the Chamber itself, and they are not beyond martyring themselves.

It’s not enough for Republicans to now denounce their members who contest Biden’s win, or even if they say they think Trump did impeachable things. Frankly, even the more rational sounding ones are still not to be trusted going forward, because their views are abhorrent. I know there’s zero chance that we would seek to clean them out entirely, because it is viewed as an attack on the two-Party system. However, we had better make our point by removing more than just the obvious offenders.

This was four years in the making and they didn’t simply enable Trump. They (as a Party) may not have been directly involved with planning this event, but they have been doing their own slow insurrection and attempting to take over and remain in power, by ignoring laws and acting in bad faith at all times. It’s not governance and it never was. They need a significant wake up call and to fear repercussions.
