Michelle Malkin To One-Percenters: It Gets Better

Well thank god, someone has finally come to the defense of all the rich. Michelle Malkin has bravely come forward to call for an end to the "bullying epidemic" that plagues our nation:

No, not the school bullying issues that get constant attention from Hollywood, the White House and the media. No, not the "fat-shaming" and "body-shaming" outbreaks on Facebook. The problem is wealth-shaming. Class-shaming. Success-shaming.

The State of the Job Creator is under siege.

You see, Malkin understands that when tech gazillionaire Tom Perkins wrote that letter to the Wall Street Journal warning that the rich are facing their very own Kristallnacht, he wasn't being an obnoxious douche. He was presenting a "critical message in defense of our nation's achievers" that she prays "will transcend, inspire, embolden and prevail." Unless, of course, the Takers have their way and Holocaust the rich to death, putting them on the incremental tax increase trains and shoving them into the gas chambers of Keynesianism.

Malkin emphasizes that Perkins is not some mere "GOP politician or conservative activist or Fox News personality," but rather a self-made tech billionaire and venture capitalist like you and me. He only made one teensy rhetorical mistake in telling America the truth:

Because he dared to compare the seething resentment of modern progressives to Kristallnacht and Nazi Germany, the grievance industry attacked Perkins and dismissed his message. His former colleagues at the venture capital firm he founded threw him under the bus.

That would presumably be the well-appointed Google bus, in fact. But you see, the REAL hypocrites -- and perhaps Nazis, although she doesn't actually say it -- are Perkins's critics:

Please note: Not one of those sanctimonious grievance-mongers had anything to say about the Molotov cocktail-fueled riots and fires set by the Occupy mobs at banks, car dealerships and restaurants in Oakland that provoked Perkins' comparison in the first place.

Yeah, for some reason, the leftist scum were more worried about getting tear gassed, pepper sprayed or maybe catching "nonlethal" riot-control rounds in the head. Those monsters. Won't anyone think of the PTSD that will be suffered by future pepper-spraying cops? (Also: Yr Wonkette does not support throwing Molotov cocktails at anyone or anything. No, not even SUV dealerships.)

Anyway, Perkins is sorry he said anything about the Holocaust since it distracted people from his main point, which is that the "creative 1 percent" need to be allowed to thrive without anyone ever criticizing or taxing them.

"Anytime the majority starts to demonize a minority, no matter what it is, it's wrong. And dangerous. And no good ever comes from it."

If only lefties would recognize that the Google Bus is literally packed with Rosa Parkses of innovation! Well, not packed; they're pretty comfy, we hear.

In fact, even "those who bemoan 'income inequality'" (which is not a real thing, unlike the very real "War on Wealth"), like his former pals "Al Gore, Jerry Brown and Barack Obama," are bad for America:

"The 1 percent are not causing the inequality. They are the job creators. ... I think Kleiner Perkins [his venture capitalist group] itself over the years has created pretty close to a million jobs, and we're still doing it. It's absurd to demonize the rich for being rich and for doing what the rich do, which is get richer by creating opportunity for others."

And should some of the peons want a hike in the minimum wage, this too is part of the War on Wealth, because how many jobs have burger flippers with three kids created, hmmmm?

Anyway, you have to keep in mind that the real violence is not economic inequality. The real violence, Malkin explains, comes from anyone who dares to attack the wealthy, from the anonymous idiot who sent a letter to a Republican New York legislator threatening to "pay a visit with my carbine to one of those tech companies you are so proud of and shoot every spoiled Ivy League (expletive) I can find" (note: Yr Wonket agrees this was an evil thing to threaten) to editorial writers, who are morally no different from the guy sending death threats:

Hypocrite wealth-basher and former paid Enron adviser Paul Krugman at The New York Times whipped up hatred against the "plutocrats" in solidarity with the Occupy mob.

But the deadliest threat are not the death threats, but people in Washington DC who "stoke bottomless hatred against "millionaires and billionaires" through class-bashing rhetoric and entrepreneur-crushing policies" -- again, we're pretty sure she means the deadly, violence-inciting talk of a slightly higher marginal tax rate, or an end to subsidies for oil companies, or (shudder!) talk of people "paying their fair share." And anyone who fails to "shame the wealth-shamers" is complicit in acts of violence against our precious, precious job creators.

Be strong, billionaires. There will always be a vast crowd of people happy to fight for the privilege of hold your dicks while you pee.
