It’s also worth noting just how vast Texas is. As an attorney licensed in all federal and state courts in Texas, I had more than a few cases in El Paso. That’s a 2 hour flight from Houston, whereas Houston to California is only 4 hours of flight time. If driving, that’s a heckuva lot of time to spend in a car.
