At our house when we see somebody say something stupid that you can’t take back like Senator Mike Lee did on the tragic Minnesota assassinations, we say “Well, he pulled a Joni Ernst.” From a Democrat who lives in Iowa. Hope this goes viral and shames them both!
Also too, Mike Lee is of the party that lives by the lie. Whether the lie is outrageous and transgressive doesn't matter (to them), if it is meme-orable and repeated until it becomes GOP-spel truth. They lie like a panicky or over-excited predator breathes.
Somebody should point out to these violently crazy Republicans that, if they do how they've been instructed by the Republican Party and kill libs, that same Republican Party will publicly brand them radical left Marxists, which will stick with them forever.
Mike Lee deserves to have his phones, emails and staff bombarded with calls for his resignation, and messages like “you should resign in shame, and beg your constituents and colleagues in Congress for forgiveness. You have blood on your hands for inciting a retaliation for violence coming from your own party. You are the problem.”
I did call up my Senator (Bernie Moreno) before I saw that tweet and left a voicemail that the Republican Party was a terrorist organization, and he had blood on his hands for the Minnesota assassinations.
The noose around our necks is tightening. We’ve entered the phase now where the violence that the fascists are promoting stochastically or in deed is ramping up. How long before it becomes unstoppable?
The total number of actually homicidal Proud Boys, Oaf Keepers, and their ilk is pretty small. (And one less than it was yesterday.) The danger is the 20-30% who still, somehow, think that a profoundly ignorant felon, fraudster, and sociopathic sex offender is the greatest leader of the 21st century.
Political violence isn't a matter of left and right, which are economic theories. They are reallt a matter of authoritarian and egalitarian, which are types of government. Back in the day of Lenin (forget Marx - his economic theories are indistinguishable from the Christian lifestyle described in the book of Acts) there were some revolutionaries who used violence because it was the only tool they had. That has not been true for a long time. You would be hard put today to find a progressive or liberal who would ever use or approve of political violence in reality. That doesn't mean we would never fantasize about some elected officials dropping dead, and it also doesn't mean we are immune from exercising personal violence, but basically, we are practical, and we are well aware that political violence doesn't work well. The other side, on the other hand, are masters of projection.
The one I saw, I realized one of my farming cousins was nearby in the stands and kept shaking his head throughout the contest. I think they have tapered off as excess equipment has been recycled. See also figure eight bus racing.
Sen Lee, your attempts to gaslight me into believing the RINO MAGA asshole who assassinated a sitting state Rep, tried to assassinate a sitting state Senator, and had planned on killing more is ludicrous to the extreme. The dipshit was going after Dems, if he was a Marxist don't you think his targets would have been right wingnut fascists (like you)?

While contemplating that Boelter is a Leftist keep in mind that the shootings were all Gov Walz's fault for not being strong like the Fulvous Fuckwad:
> "Jack Brewer, a former NFL player who spent four seasons in the league, playing for teams like the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Arizona Cardinals, recently criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz
...
In a new interview, Brewer wasted no time letting the people of Minnesota know that he believes Tim Walz is to blame for the tragic deaths
[NB: Brewer played in the NFL for four seasons on four different teams. I have to believe that if he was any good as a Safety that he wouldn't have been moving to a different team every year. His bio says he was a team captain on three of those teams, but why would a team captain move to a different team each year he was active.]

Please, while I'm not a Christian (I'd likely be among the first in line for a friendly neighborhood auto-da-fé) I still find it offensive to call Boelter -- or Mooseballs Mussolini, the Hillbilly serving as VPOTUS, MAGA Mike Johnson, SecDef Kegbreath, DHS' Birkenau Barbie, DOJ's Birkenau Barbie, MTG... -- a Christian. These people (bless their hearts) follow twisted and perverted teachings of the Christ, contorted to fit their agenda.

Ugh. Moreno is such an embarrassing POS. Sent him a little note just now letting him know how I feel about his gross mischaracterizations.
And Trump says calling Walz would be a waste of his time. Another piece of shit sitting in DC.

A fulcrum at last.

They hate everything, including and perhaps especially themselves.
Ta, Evan. Evergreen, indeed.
It's all crap for consumption by MAGAts ... and boy do they love to slurp it up.
Common thread running throughout: EVERY ACCUSATION IS AN ADMISSION
The one and only thing they're consistent about.

I hope he was at least a little bitten.

"a common wiener dog race at the county fair."
I would pay to see that over and over all day long!
You should take in a combine demolition derby if the opportunity presents.
I had no Idea such a thing existed. I would also I watch that.

By the way, does anyone know what the attendance was at Trump's parade? Hoping it was super-low.
According to Trump probably 500,000. A realistic estimate maybe 10,000 to 20,000 early on dwindling after the first half hour.
