E-Band Restrictors are magnetically operated, remotely controlled CD3’s that use the same technology as our flagship product, the G.L.O.V.E. E-Bands come in two models, the EBA (bi-cep and lower leg) and the EBL (thigh area). Both are effective for transporting those just brought into custody, prisoner transport, court room proceedings, medical visits or hospital stays.
E-Bands bring suspects/inmates into compliance when committing acts of aggression or attempting escape. Each device comes with two magnetic keys and two remote controls that have a range of over 150 yards. This is a proven, discreet, effective, and yet humane technology to control subjects especially when time is of the essence.
When it came to Thanksgiving, Hong’s original comment obviously came from righteous rage over Native genocide. While it was a stupid way of making her point, it makes no sense that it supposedly cost her the primary. The type of white people who were offended wouldn’t have voted for her anyway - she could have said something far milder and they would still have characterized her as hating white people.
Team FIGHT because your quality of life quite literally DEPENDS upon it is precisely the sentiment the left needs to aggressively propagate in November.
Too damned entirely accurate, righteous comrades...
There’s an obvious disconnect between the ludicrous extreme positions on the DSA website versus what candidates who have some DSA associations are actually advocating. It would be so easy for the right to accuse the candidates of lying about their true objectives. But wouldn’t many DSA members also accuse them of being sellouts? The candidates do appear to be sincere in advocating sensible modern versions of New Deal policies. So why associate with a group that lists, say, prison abolition on its website? My theory is that they’ve been frozen out by the establishment centrists in the Democrats and have few other options to reach voters who feel the same way. Any basis for that?
One thing I've been thinking about is that the Democrats not take advice from our enemies on how to win a race. A lot of talking heads may sound level-headed but are still Republicans who don't want us to win. Let's not ask George Will what we need to do to succeed.
George FWill should stick to writing his tedious columns about how "baseball is a metaphor for America." He's been dead to me since he helped Reagan [spits] in his debate prep with materials stolen from the Carter campaign. Plus he's an excruciating bore.
While everyone was falling over themselves to put out think pieces on what the implications of nominating Hong would have been, Mike Lindell gets treated as a regular -- if kinda quirky -- candidate despite clearly being a crazy person. Not crazy as in has a lot of out-of-the-box ideas and weird positions, I mean crazy as in really needs to be in a supervised institutional setting with a clear medication management plan. I suspect he was also kicked in the head by a mule at some point.
Hong wasn't the problem, even with her super-woke positions on things like Thanksgiving. It's that the media's Overton Window is adjusted so far right that saying something like that is completely unacceptable, whereas the lunatic ravings and bigotry (and sometimes criminal history) of a MAGA Republican candidate gets ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hong would be a dream come true for Tiffany campaign. While you may not like fireworks, or Thanksgiving, or any of that, that is not a majority opinion shared in this state, and likely far more off putting than anything.
To be clear, I don't think Hong would've been a bad governor. In fact, I think she probably would've been a pretty good governor, but I'm not dumb. I live in this state. I've followed election trends in this state, and although I confess it's a biased opinion, I think I have a pretty good idea of how the state generally feels about those sorts of things.
In the end, I don't want Tom Tiffany as my governor. So if that means I have to go with someone who isn't necessarily my first choice, that's what I'm going to do because "tiffany not winning" is more pressing at the moment.
Remember: Primary victories don't mean a fking thing if the winner can't come out victorious in the general.
Worth noting that Hong lost 7% of the vote to the state senator whose district she lives in (another progressive), and Crawley lost 8% of the vote to establishment candidates who had already dropped out but were still on the ballot.
Also note that in 2020 Hong got into the state assembly by narrowly winning a 7-way Democratic primary with only 28% of the vote.
The real lesson from the Wisconsin Gubernatorial primary should be that Wisconsin needs ranked-choice voting. But that isn't going to sell as many clicks.
My chess pal Ox in Australia says that they have ranked choice in their elections...and sometimes with 100+ candidates for Federal offices on the ballot it's tedious to mark the preference choices...but it's worth it according to Ox.
Oh yeah! Some years back, me and the fam arrived on the Saturday after TG for second thanksgiving at paternal Grandma's, and a couple doors down a nice rambler was a burt out mess.
I bought some night time tea and one of the ingredients was catnip. I didn’t know humans could have that. Anyway, Google says it’s is very relaxing for humans. Can confirm.
The GLOVE company has other toys.

Oh no! Anyway...

As far as South Carolina goes, I assume that was still solid red, no matter who died there.
But seeing the Republican primary result, maybe not so much.
Well, it's a runoff between a spineless Trump suck-up and a fully bonkers Trump suck-up, so they've got that going for them.

No "stunning defeat" headlines for him.
Everything is legal in Wisconsin if your BAC is over 0.8.
You're a rather terrifying anomoly if you can achieve a BAC of .80% while still standing.
Gawd DAMN.
I believe you intended to post 0.08.
Is that decimal in the correct place? (I may have follow up non comment.)
Ok, that's a bumper sticker I'd buy.
I don't live in Wisconsin though.

I WISH we had ranked choice here. It's the fairest way to hold an election.

so are those party gloves available to the public also?
Probably not.

Mike Lindell says as a true Christian, he will never bow to the elitist liberal religion of Archimedes.
Whatever floats his boat.
This thread is spiralling.
And yet he'll keep getting screwed by Archimedes.
Archimedes doesn't care about your feelings.
Brain of feathers.
Face of pillowcase.
You want radical? I propose we combine the two holidays by stuffing our turkeys with fireworks!
God as my witness I thought turkeys could fly!
well, you've got MY vote!
Every Day Trump is in the White Power House IS Turkey Day.
And he keeps pardoning turkeys.
Do NOT give the dumbasses ideas.
Make sure to situate your deep fryers at least 50' from your houses, though.

Just don't smoke it. (And don't ask how I know.)
Just be sure to dial it back if you find yourself licking your own privates.
