separation of church says law makers cannot make laws based on their religious beliefs,there is a law separating church and religion because you cannot force your religious beliefs on another person. so anti abortion laws violate the separation of church and state. second argument is that , no place in the bible, does it give a person the right to intervene in another person's personal choices, even when your religious beliefs do not align with the other person. Personally, I could not chose abortion, but , again, nothing gives me the right or anyone else the right to intervene simply because we may disagree with another person's choice.
I think there are a lot of people following it. But I agree that more people need to be made aware of cases like this and the abuse of the laws that were never meant to punish women for either having abortions or miscarriages.
No, I'm afraid that 'what a lot of people follow' now in this country is Kim Kardashian, not anything resembling this case. Don't underestimate the overwhelming stupidity of a country that encourages dRUMPf, much less perpetrating him as a Presidential candidate.
Which likely believes that Catholics are idolaters and not Christian. I grew up Southern Baptist in Kentucky. I heard many fundies say that about Catholics.
