I think he’s a shameless opportunist and grifter, who simply saw the market and platform for professional trolls and was vocal, articulate enough and flamboyant. Also, I noticed something odd when I was skimming some old articles about poor Milo. He wears sunglasses in 90% or more of the photos he’s in. After seeing his mug shot, now I understand why. The hatred and soulless, joyless darkness around his eyes is staggering. He hurt so many people with his smug cruelty, it’s hardly a surprise what that does to a person.
What starts as affectation can become habit, and finally, can become an integral part of you. Yiannopoulos' commitment to pure trollhood is irreversible. I don't think he has an authentic self anymore, if he ever did.
