I personally choose the humanist approach that Kurt Vonnegut and others adopted. Be kind, first and foremost, especially to people who are different from you. I’m an atheist, and “Christians” like this woman helped me get there, but I believe Christ would far more willingly embrace atheist humanists than whatever she is.
