So in other words, he's saying, "Please let us keep this flag that we use to harass people, Jews included, because Jews won't like it if it goes away. That is like saying that people should fly the Natzi flag because lots of people like the color Red. Still it's good to see that Mississippi is doing everything it can to prove it deserves the label of "Least Educated State".

I did carry the state flag with the "Colonel Reb" flag taped above it. I was explaining to the media about the difference between the Confederate Battle Flag & the Mississippi Flag. Treason? I guess you would agree with the british about the founding fathers. I don't claim to be "murkan" by your definition. The "Confederate States of America". American in that sense.

Ok, had to use the Googly.This Moran is referring to the Saltire cross, featured on Scotland's flag adopted in the 15th century. I suspect his reasoning abilities are in direct proportion to the depth of his font of knowledge.

Doing a bit of genealogy a while back, and ran into a pair of very very distant relatives name of Oppenheimer, served with the 10th Texas Cavalry (dismounted). So, despite the fact that most of the Jewish population arrived in the U.S. in the 1880s anf later, there were a few here already, and some of them were living (and fighting) in the South. Would they be offended by the removal of the Confederate flag? I doubt it. But you never know.

From what I've seen at the Korean market, sliced pork belly looks a bit like bacon, but it's not smoked. And there's a lot higher meat to fat ratio.

So how do you explain the Oppenheimers fighting for Texas during the Civil War? What you don't seem to understand is that anti-Semitism is a relatively recent phenomenon, a product of the 20th century, at least in the U.S. The Europeans have been anti-Semitic for centuries..
