The ONLY reason we didn't get universal health care back with all the other "New Deal" safety nets is because nobody could figure out a way to keep black people from having it. Just so you know, slavery was never outlawed. Read the Thirteenth Amendment. It simply changed the victimhood from "black people" to "anyone we can railroad through the courts." In a way, the Thirteenth Amendment actually EXPANDED slavery by making it applicable to every race.
