I remember when I thought cops joined the force to catch bad guys. I was so naive. Its disheartening how often police don't seem to give a shit about catching the real perpetrator of a violent crime and just want to lazily lock up someone nearby.
I understand that getting innocent people out of prison is the priority, but I would really like to see "lock up the asshole cops and prosecutors who knowingly convicted innocent people, and literally never let them see the sun again" become a priority, also, too.
