Idiot Gov. Parson Hee Haw and his wife got the Covid running around the state campaigning with no mask, no distancing. Marbles in his mouth is against any mandate that would keep his State safe - vaccines, masks, closures - no matter what Delta or Omicron say. He says he will not run for another term, but is bound and determined to make as many people as sick as possible and crush the health care system. What a legacy.
Remember when Jeb Bush-- to show what a guy he was-- decided to release all the email message exchanges he'd had with Floridians to show he should be re-elected, and he released them without hiding the Floriidians' addresses? This must have been right at the end of Obama's term and I thought how utterly insecure that would have made me feel if I'd lived in Florida compared to the sense I had with the president and his being too intelligent to let anything stupid happen. Of course a terrible unforeseen event could come along but this email thing would never arise, ever. It was such a powerful feeling-- hard to recapture now, tho I can say I've felt much better during the past year.
It reminds me of all those items at the bottom of the screen that claim to show secrets your dermatologist is keeping secret from you. It's probably vaseline or it could be wash cloths.
I sadly live in Missouri, a transplant from California. Parson is very very representative of the intellect of the average Missourian. When I worked for the USDA office here in St Louis a mid level government manager tried to get a contractor fired for 'hacking' because he used keyboard shortcuts rather than using the mouse to click on menu options.... and he was considered their most technical gov side person in the department.
I too, sadly live in Missouri and I'm a physicist. That's kinda like being a stripper in a convent here in Missouri. I'm about ready to give up. I left my church because they believe, "I don't see how Democrats and scientist think they're getting into heaven." I avoid a good chunk of my family and I consider anytime outside of the state a vacation now.
