I think he expects the people who need him to be sane will remember his sane speech, and if they remember the others, they'll know he "had to talk that way" and the ones who remember that one, paid no attention to his sane speech or didn't hold it against him.

Of course, the results were from one small town with a population of just dozens, but they had no understanding of statistics and probability. I enjoyed watching them lose over the rest of the day. Note that these guys were the sort who put political posters on the outside of their cubes so that all of us had to see them.
I can't completely agree that Trump's assertion means absolutely nothing. It usually means that the opposite is true. That's been pretty consistent over four plus years now.

I actually did bring up the fact that Trump lost 60+ lawsuits. She just said that the judges don't want to hear it, but that proof is coming.
