Mittens McRomneybot briefly activated his sensory and communications units Friday to Mittsplain that he's pretty sure that House Republicans are going about this business of killing Obamacare the absolute wrong way. Now, you might expect Romney to suggest that Republicans stop worrying so much, because most elements of the Affordable Healthcare Act have been working just fine in Massachusetts since 2006, and he oughta know. That, of course, is what the alternate-universe Romney -- the one from a parallel Earth where people are logically consistent -- would say. In our timeline, we are stuck with the Mitt Romney who completely failed to become president by running against his own damn health insurance plan. So now he
Teabaggers think they're fighting against adding that $1M to the "rising cost of health care" and "imposing the cost on taxpayers."
If you're saddled with any 'bagger friends, you should ask how they imagine the hospital covered that $1M. These idiots seem to think that if they refuse to spend tax money on something, magic will take care of it.
All of Mitt's friends can afford a million-dollar hospital bill . . . in fact, they'd probably get world-class treatement at some high-end clinic, and spend two mil on it.
I am somewhat surprised that the rest of the American note-holding world hasn't turned into a bunch of mafia loan shark debt collectors. Our government certainly doesn't behave like it's responsible enough to pay it back.
Once the thing is up and running in another couple weeks, perhaps it will be easier to get him to consider a very minimal plan. Some states are doing quite a lot of outreach and my guess is that many people even without a paranoia diagnosis may be nervous and suspicious, given all the scare tactics. Good luck, keep trying.
Not a chance. (1) There's no way he could get the Repo nom again; (2) He knows he'll get thrashed in the general. The American electorate may be fairly stupid, but it still requires Presidential candidates to at least successfully fake sincerity.
Cruz is shooting his wad way too early. By late 2015, he's going to be that doofus that tried to fuck up the economy back in 2013. He's in the lead now among alleged Repo primary voters because who the fuck else do they have?
"beside the point" rather overstates the level of concern.

Not gonna happen. The fuckers are insane.

Excellent non-response there.
