A young woman from China was working in my office a few years ago. To be friendly-like, I greeted her one day with "nee how mai mai". According to the intertubes, that means "hello little sister". She laughed and laughed at me. Then explained that what I said is very flirtatious, although that doesn't explain her laughter. Anyway, we became good friends. So Chinese truly is the language of opportunity.

I believe that in return for not being able to vote, citizens in Puerto Rico don't pay Federal income taxes. Now, the income will be reported, of course, and that is true for assets in the Caymen Islands.

There are astonishing tax breaks for businesses HQ'd in PR. And, of course, for those who use a brass plate as a corporate headquarers in the Caymens.
