I am still creeped out by the fact that Graham has a 15 year old daughter (who talks like a six year old). How old is he? I didn't know he'd jettisoned the original wifey for a younger model.

Obviously, you've never seen Space Angel. Fucked up. This was meant as a reply to Biff52.

YEah, 40% (depending on how you count) of the 10 commandments are about how Yeehaw is the only god etc.

It depends on who you ask. My parents married in 1944 and had 3 children, I was born in 1956, but I am not counted as a Baby Boomer when it comes to Social Security. My older sister and brother got to retire at age 65, but I have to wait until age 66. The government considers you a Baby Boomer for retirement purposes if you were born between 1946 and Dec. 31, 1955. This is inaccurate, of course, but you can't argue with them.

Baha'i. Maybe that doesn't count because it SHOULD have been Islam's Reformation. Too bad it didn't take. Many if not most of its adherents came to it from other faiths.

Mr. Kasich said. He said those are human rights, democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of association.

As little respect as I have for Kasich, even I didn't think he'd stoop this low. Hey, John - check the batteries in your irony detector; it seems to be on the fritz. Freedom of religion and freedom of association mean that Muslims enjoy the same rights as everyone else in this country. These spring from the period on Western history known as "The Enlightenment" when Humanist Values such as self-governance and freedom of conscience began to be considered as the natural state of humanity, rather than being subject to the "divine right" of kings - look it up and be sure to especially pay attention to pre-Christian Greek philosophers and the humanist European scholars who had a very strong influence on the thinking of our founders. Oh, and the idea that Western countries have "respect" for women as a core value? Here's what my meter says:

So shut the fuck up, John, and take your preaching back to the pulpit where it belongs.

Yes, he did. Still can't figure that one out, unless even then he had his eye on a presidential run and knew that by now, if he got the nom he could point to its success as evidence that he's a "moderate".
