It is a work safety issue (I saw a stage hand get seriously injured moving equipment and he was supposed to know how to do it). And jesus f. christ...the violinist has spent his entire childhood blighted and the rest of his life in a room practicing and lost most of his sanity learning how to play his instrument well enough to get into a symphony. And there are fewer jobs in the entire country than there are doctors in the city of San Antonio.
