Sorry, George Clooney, you will have to spell this one out. These are entertainment reporters, guy. Clooney's idealistic presidential candidate, Pennsylvania Gov. Mike Morris, has a straightforward platform: He's nonreligious but defends the freedom of religion. He also opposes the death penalty and wants to phase out internal combustion engines to reduce American dependence on foreign oil.
These "reporters" have their parties confused. It's the GNoP who puts up vanity candidates going nowhere - not the Democrats.
Besides, politics is show business for ugly people. That's cetainly not George's problem.
you know the little bits i've heard of clooney (interviewing / speaking, etc.) the guy seems to be the real thing.
yeah he's charming and gorgoues but he's really really smart and really political. he knows perfectly well that he's too liberal to win anything so he does what he can in the capacity of 'world heart throb'.
JW: Not, he doesn't. He has played a remarkable variety of roles. And he is wlling to poke fun at himself (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?).
The American was (and probably still is) a terrible movie.
Mr. Clooney is a very good actor.

which is shit load harder than it looks.
there's a moment at the end of michael clayton (in the cab) when he's transcendent.
but yeah, he's still clooney. it's hard to not be (i'm not actually snarking).
can you imagine clooney in a debate with any of them? palin? bachmann? texas toast?
it would be a thing of beauty.

and that's been quite a lot.
plus wicked sense of humor.
