Pssssst. He wasn’t a very good Mayor, either.

Well now - I was not going to say anything about mister Bloomberg - because I would have taken him over tRump - but then about 7 weeks ago I reached out to his organization to purchase every available ventilator - at list price - and distribute them according to need - there was about a 48 hour window before it descended into the current shituation. They still haven’t got back to me - so fuck them and the gold plated box they’ll be carried out in.

As the esteemed Masha Gessen puts it, "The low bar set by the incompetent, self-obsessed, lying President makes any halfway-competent public servant sound brilliant. In New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo’s popularity seems to have spiked simply because he is acting and speaking rationally."https://www.newyorker.com/n...

What a shock! A worthless, talentless, totalitarian parasite goes back on his word and cheats his workers. He was always worse than Trump. Under Bloomberg, you'd get war with Russia and a fascist nanny state that gutted the First, Second, and Fourth Ammendments

God, I hate him so so much. Cutting Medicaid. Reversing bail reform. The truth is people are stupid. Democrats fall for the same shallow showmanship bullshit.

""I'm so sorry I worked for this guy. I thought he was totally different,"

If not for Wonder Woman, i.e. Elizabeth Warren, many voters would have been saying that same thing.

And then there's the Three Men In A Room, the IDC, his failure to release the approved funds to institute statewide universal vote-by-mail and early voting, refusal to sign the New York Health Act and the NY Liberty Act, his Buffalo Billions scandal, shutting down the Moreland Commission and its corruption investigations, bullshit with the MTA's budget, letting Republicans control gerrymandering to keep Republicans in state power, that Excelsior Scholarship baloney, running the state as if he's boss of an old-school political machine ... and that's just top-of-mind items.

Not really the 1.2 million in that one week that scares me as the 3.7 million from 2/24-3/22/2020. And there's a week missing in there. So almost certainly over 4 million new background checks since 2/24.

Yeah so I replied saying I won't pay the court fees since the manager responded that it was incurred prior to the COVID outbreak, thus accrued then and she would send me a receipt."I will gladly discuss in mediation"

Fucking managers.

I agree. There’s a reason we have MSDS and it’s not because everyone likes paperwork.

If I was the ops manager, I’d have asked her to bring in the packaging so I could compare it to the req specs and ensure compliance. I’d have offered her leave without pay until she provided it. Then policy would be clear, validated, and evenly enforced.

This was draconian and solved nothing.

Now is the time to cogitate and compel revolutionary measures and reckon reorganization and redistribution of what is needed to whom is in need.

I do NOT want everything to go back to exactly the way it was BC; before COVID-19.
