You summed up my feelings personally. I'd you were selling that shit for 1200 ameros and keeping more than 50 to maybe 100 of them, it'd be awesome. Instead most of that 1200 just goes to another rich person to bnuy more stupid shit with.

hmmm...i hate to be negative nelli (not really, i love it)--but if you can afford the experiment, the next time you see the homeless person that you always see (cause we all know/recognise a 'regular' somewhere), give him $500...you will be amazed at how little difference it makes, because sooner or later, (sooner...probably even the next day) you'll see that same regular, in the same place, dressed in the same clothes, doing the same things--homeless-es are not financial geniuses (duh...homeless?) and are almost always mentally ill...i work in an assisted living center for formerly homeless/diagnosed MI people...i dont have enough fingers to count the number of people i have known who have gotten large 5-$figure disability back-checks, moved out of the center, and been back on the streets (or dead from suddenly well-funded bad habits) within months if not weeks...homelessness is not a problem that will be fixed with only money, and damn sure not with $500, and in fact, i could make a convincing argument that a random $500 to the average homeless person will cause more problems than it solves after the initial belly-filler and carton o smokes

sorry to disagree

Actually, it kind of doesn't in the long run. Research shows that when you do something for the reward you lose your intrinsic motivation and are less likely to do it in future.
