Agree 100%. I recently read a piece in Vox that PISSED ME OFF, discussing as it did the sexist treatment of Hicks in the media, why isn't she a wunderkind, whyyyyy. There's some truth to the sexism thing, but no one was screaming about that when she was wearing that edgy tuxedo in wherever - Asia, or something. Her looks are a HUGE part of her appeal to that perv for whom she works, she had to know that. So fuck her. She made STUNNINGLY STUPID decisions & also whined to her mom a lot.
I'm pretty sure it's been shown conclusively that attractive people are more successful. That most likely extends to them getting the benefit of the doubt, which others do not get.
