A pizza and a pepsi seem like a reasonable opening to meaningful dialogue. No, I'm actually serious. Why can't we just go from there? Share a pop and try to see the other persons side. Have a friendly debate about which is better, Pepsi or Coke, and then find some common ground. Hard to hate someone who's shared a meal with you. Unless they're family. That's totally different.
