One of the many reason I quit watching sports. The money is as bad as the Hill which I am forced to pay taxes to. It's become all about the owners and the rich. Kids/teens can't afford to go to these games. Their heroes are on tvs and computers. Do they set aside money to allow the poor to participate in a rich male world?
Oh, yeah, I've written* about them. They cause millions of dollars in losses to agriculture every year.
* Which led me to a revolting place, watching a youtube video that lured pigs in with food to a location with a hella amount of tannerite, which was set off in the middle of the piggies and the sound captured the ones not killed by the blast as they screamed.
Encouraging people to vote ranks right up there in the annals of subversive evil with a former FLOTUS encouraging kids to eat some vegetables! I say FUCK THE VEGETABLE EATING LIBS!!!!!!!!!
The NBA players deserve most of the credit for this sort of thing. Remember when they walked out during the playoffs two years ago? It still seems remarkable that a major pro-sports league would shut down completely for two days, so the players could meet and formulate demands for how the league should respond to Black Lives Matter.
I'm proud of them. There are problems, sure, but they still deserve a lot of credit.
