I actually watched part of this. Watters started out with footage of Trump rebuking reporters during various points during his presidency, and then explaining to viewers that Trump had never actually KILLED anybody, unlike DEMOCRATS. He repeatedly mis-pronounced the victim's name as "Jer-MAINE," and seemed to think the entire point of the story was that Mr. Telles is a Democrat and that NOBODY is reporting on this story.
What settled this for me is that like a year and a half ago, the Root writers (most of whom have since departed because fuck Herb Spamfilter) agreed that Fetterman had made a mistake and had learned from it.
One thing I noticed on Telles twitter was what he had to say about the primary:"We made a good go of it. While we came close, I did not win my primary."
Came close? He came in third in a primary of... three. Yeah, dude, that was "close".
