Never Mind, Jeff Flake's A Pussy Again

Yesterday, the world stopped turning for a moment to appreciate the HIGH DUDGEON of one Mister Senator Jeff Flake, a bog-standard Republican (to steal from the best) who nonetheless was tired of being personally vilified by the mental patient in the White House, and so rose on the Senate floor to GRANDLY ORATE about "morally treasonable" dangers to the Republic (the mental patient in the White House). Flake was well on his way to losing his Senate seat in Arizona when he announced he would not seek another term.

"The notion that one should stay silent as the norms and values that keep America strong are undermined and as the alliances and agreements that ensure the stability of the entire world are routinely threatened by the level of thought that goes into 140 characters, the notion that we should say or do nothing in the face of such mercurial behavioral is ahistoric, and I believe profoundly misguided," he said. "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president or that we are to stand by a president right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile but is morally treasonable to the American public." He went on to address the danger not only to our country but to the world," he said too.
