"How this bagger was elected the mayor of the largest city in Canada, and fourth largest city on the continent, no less, is beyond me." Suburban douchebags, is how.

I say that he's innocent of the charge, because there's no way that is crack. It's obviously meth, so screw you all.

Actually, it's a really good time to be a Tory-hater in Canada; we have two federal senators, Pamela Wallin and Mike Duffy in trouble over their expenses. Big time scandals.

I'm pretty sure that Rob Ford's attorney is our residential troll- same ungrammatical, wandering prose that doesn't actually make any sense whatsoever and the same excessive use of commas. I'm glad he found a real job, buzzing around wonket trying to annoy the regulars can't pay much...

Gawker has set up an indiegogo to raise the $200,000 for the video. The kids who took it want to be able to get the hell out of town and away from Toronto cops when it goes public. So far they have $34,000. Damn. I wish my bank account wasn't sucking fumes right now.

This could not happen to a nicer guy. And by nicer, I mean more stupid, bombastic, crooked, self-aggrandizing bully.

It's been a good day, in other words.

The people who voted for this maroon are the people in the burbs around Toronto. The "real" Torontonians can't stand him. This is a man who two years running has REFUSED to attend the Toronto Pride Parade, saying instead that his family always goes to the cottage that weekend.

How about that congressman on "House of Cards"? Doesn't he make three?

There's yer trend! Here, I'll write it for you: "Another recent example of this fast-growing trend is the on-line Netflix series "House of Cards," in which Kevin Spacey's character conducts a monstrous scam on a Philadelphia congressman played by relative newcomer Corey Stoll, after discovering that Stoll's character, in addition to being a flagrant womanizer, also has a cocaine habit."

I tried to make the sentence even more tortured, but that was the best I could do.

My old boss used to carry a plastic bottle of "lens cleaning solution" in his briefcase, and use it to augment his airport-bar-supplied martinis. This was pre-no-liquids-on-airplanes, of course, but might work as long as you're not flying to your business lunches. "Just a glass of ice for me, thanks!"
