If you remember, the Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif had to school Cotton on the US constitution when Cotton drafted a letter, signed by several other Republicans, advising Iran to ignore any agreements with Obama because Obama had no authority to negotiate any agreements. It looks like Cotton did not attend his remedial Constitution 101 class. He still doesn't know what is in it.

Even though it was funny, I didn't like seeing a Joni Mitchell song related in any way to the shite that we see at the NYT.

Well, he does represent Arkansas. I'm sure all the small rural towns there are prepping for hundreds of Antifa buses to arrive and rape all the white women and burn down all the churches. And if they don't invade, it's only because they were scared off by the armed citizens. That's also why marauding herds of rogue elephants have not flattened the town. It's a scientific fact.

The only bit of the Constitution the GOP knows is the 2nd amendment and like all things in that document they've had a judge "change" it by rewriting the intentions of the original authors. That is how they want to treat everything in the Constitution. As something to mold into a weapon that serves them. Cotton wasn't doing a whole lot different in this situation than what Scalia did with the 2nd amendment.

What I want to know, is will my SJW rank be transferable to the Woke Mob? Like, if I'm a social justice E-4, will I still be an E-4 when I move over? Is there some kind of equivalency exam? Do I have to go through indoctrination again?

Why are all the senior editorial staff at the NYT such clueless fucking boneheads? It's almost like that's the quality they value most...

I'm reminded of an episode from the tv series Incredible Hulk where Banner hulks out in a newspaper printing facility and starts tearing the presses apart. It was called - you guessed it - "Stop The Presses".

Realistically, half of what made Cotton's op ed so hideous is that he is AN ELECTED LAW-MAKER. He's not some non-governmental writer dude with no education on these matters. This is not some screaming rando's position, it's someone who actually has a say in our government recommended sending troops against American citizens. Someone who should ABSOLUTELY know better.
