Someone is going to say the words "Final solution to the trans question."

I'm proud that many of these offensive NYT stories and their biases were often called out here in the articles and non-comments of Wonkette.

A tangential rant, possibly the most rage-inducing thing I ever investigated first hand was a doctor who was administering testosterone blockers to minors without justification or consent. That is a question for regulation. It was clear the common denominator was parents freaking out over any precocious expression of sexuality.

What a fucking garbage publication run by fucking garbage human beings. Kudos to Krugman, Bouie et al. for fighting the good fight from within, though. Don't know how they do it.

When I lived in New York during the 80s, it was pretty simple. Most New Yorkers read the Times as the paper of record. The Archie Bunker neighborhoods in Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island read the Post and the Daily News. Once a week, liberals read the Village Voice to learn the stuff that the Times got wrong.

You could find your place in that cosmos and feel somewhat well informed. If something big was happening in the White House or on the Hill, you read the Washington Post; that was their beat.

I subscribed to the Sunday Times after I left NYC. How else could you find out was going on with the arts? They got my check for almost 30 years. I finally called it quits when they kept carrying water for the Trump administration, and it felt kind of traumatic.

By the end of the Trump administration, the trauma of quitting the Times seemed rather quaint after we learned what trauma really felt like.

Hot from the "I read it on 4-chan files". The thing is, your steamy pile of shit won't gain traction here, and you should consider that an article authored by "Maga Emeffer" on quillette ain't worth the ones and zeros that got it to ya.

I wasn't intending to discuss this, but I am referring to the case of a doctor who was stripped of his license after I published my own assessment of his methods and claims. As I reiterated, this was if anything among people who were conservative or would be now. I am so disgusted I am not going to give his name.

It's not outside the realm of possibility, it just seems like a story cooked up to inflame anger and generate opposition to gender affirming treatment, but from a different angle. It's the plausibility that makes it seem specious without sourcing

Just getting back to this, I explained this as a case I personally investigated. I can further attest, nobody at the time was connecting it with LGBT issues. I would consider it obvious that the current "anti trans" crowd would be the last people to bring it up now. The real lesson is that parental "rights" are THE problem.

I completely agree on the excessive use of parental rights is an issue. Funny how the pregnant mothers rights are tertiary to Jesus and the baby up until birth, and then...well, second only to the husbands rights. These fuckin' people and their pretzel logic really chafes my down theres.
