I think we should all start regularly visiting Iowa diners so reporters will suddenly notice we exist.

I had an interesting conversation the other day with my mom, who is a Trump voter. She works in a medical office and about two weeks ago ICE took one of the people she works with. He does delieveries and she said he's a young guy, he's going to college for (I think) accounting. The ICE creeps took him because he's here on a temporary visa and he missed one of his appointments. He apparently worked everything out because my mom saw him again a few days later.

You guys would be very proud of me. I did my very best to keep the glee from my voice when my mom said "well he didn't say he was going to take away the GOOD people. He said just the lawbreakers and the gang members!"

"Well he lied to you, Mom"

Ronald Reagan showed his fellow dimwits how to take "Pride" in their ignorance. It's been the GOP brand since 1980.

Without dumb, unloved, self-hating voters, the GOP would cease to exist.

We are a deeply stupid nation. Congrats, repugs, your efforts to kill public education are really paying off!

Franceska, who said she felt “betrayed” by Trump, explained that she hasn’t “seen much progress toward even moving toward what he said he was going to do, such as tax breaks or, let’s see, helping with the education system.”

Franceska, please don't feel betrayed. He said he would give tax breaks, and he DID, with his Big Beautiful Blowie for Billionaires Bill..... he said he would be helping with the education system.... he IS helping.... future Republicans get elected by uneducated fucking numpties like YOU, Franceska....

GO LARN A THANG!!!

The old recipe, hate and fear stir and serve cold. That's all they have.

Pamela thinks Democrats "whine" about everything?! Trump is the Whiner in Chief! JFC. There is no saving these terminally stupid, blissfully brainwashed tools. And they ARE tools, i.e. idiots being used by Republicans.

I can understand some people are naive, some people are working 70-80 hours a week and have little free time to actually investigate the people they vote for.

Millions of Americans are corporate serfs, disposable and easily replaced, and the politicians like it that way. Ignorant, overworked people are easy to manipulate with fear and promises of a bigger piece of the corporate pie.

Republicans never deliver.

They are fine upstanding Republicans, through and through.

And THIS is why it is important to get out the vote in November. All these people who "regret" voting for Trump, are still going to go out and vote R up and down the ticket in the midterms while telling themselves "at least I'm not voting for Trump again".

“There was a lot of crime, and he did cut down on a lot of that.”

No one ever asks that simple five word question: "How did he do that?".

"M"'s avatar

Or even "What kind of crime do you mean?"

Because what *I* remember is him pardoning a lot of money launderers who were also convicted drug dealers

I think Iheard them talking about this focus group on Sirius Progress. They also asked if there was anything trump did that they liked, one person said yeah he got rid of the penny. And if you ever see interviews of MAGAloons, not one of them can come up with a positive thing he's done, it's always stupid BS stuff like he never lies to us, he runs the country like a company, he's a good man who loves this country. I guess if your sources of news are FB and Fox...
