My condolences on your loss of income. Who are you firing?

If they aren't, perhaps the Oath Keepers?

Ah crap, now I'll never find out why Christians get heart attacks.

I sense a "NEWSMAX FREE SINCE 2014" ad in the future...

Bummer. They were a great source of wingnutty material, and so convenient, too.

Wonkette is dependent on revenue to pay bills? What sort of crappy business model is that???

About 1/3 of the Newsmax articles seemed to be designed to scam their own readership."

That's the business model for griting on conservative dolts: you reel them in with teabaggish headlines, and then sell them gold coins, end-of-civilization books and DVDs, and survivalist gear.

Taking wingnut money is a public service. It means they can do that much less damage with the rest of it.

I clicked from time to time.

But Newsmax and I never really "clicked."

Here's what The Nation says about their advertising policies: Although the relationship of the First Amendment to commercial advertising is complex, we start with strong presumption against banning advertisers because we disapprove of, or even abhor, their political or social views. But we reserve (and exercise) the right to attack them in our editorial columns. ... Advertising is different. We accept it not to further the views of The Nation but to help pay the costs of publishing. We start, therefore, with the presumption that we will accept advertising even if the views expressed are repugnant to those of the editors. The only limits are those that grow out of our interest in assuring that the advertising does not impede our use of the editorial columns of The Nation to say what we want

And they still are losing money on the magazine! Wonkette is even more dependent on revenue to pay bills. So please consider clicking on these ads so Dok and company can keep the lights on. And if you want to contribute directly you won't even have to look at any ads. And if you donate money you can also ask that our Editrix send me some of your funds to keep my internet on. Which is always dicey and now I have TEN KITTENS (and their two mothers)!!!!!

Well, there's real math and then there's "wingnut math" which is always glaringly higher or lower than the actual amount. Depending on the point they're trying to make.

Like a couple hundred potbellied fools waving signs = 30 million Obamacare signing up 7 million = no one.

Bingo!

If you can't eat their food, drink their booze and then vote against them why bother?

Their money spends just as well as anyone's we don't continually mock and deride. Possibly better. Have we considered World Net Daily as a possible replacement?

“zero traffic from Wonkette,”

Oh, c'mon. It had to be lower than that.

Mocked? MOCKED?? How offensive. They were actively scorned.
