Republican gazillionaire Bruce Rauner is richer than you. And you. And you. And all of us put together. He counts his millions by the hundreds . “Capitalism is the greatest poverty-fighting machine in the history of mankind, and I’m proud of the role I’ve played"
...This sentence right here is why the Rethuglican party is so fukked up. They lack the basic understanding of what capitalism is. For capitalism to exist there MUST be poverty to varying extents. You can't just get rid of all regulation and expect the impoverished to claw their way out of the depths of being poor. In fact, capitalism naturally favors those in power and if given the chance will list toward fascism if no checks and balances are applied. Individuals like this ass-hat honestly think that they were able to amass their fortunes with sheer will and hard work. Ignoring every social policy, program and project that contributed to that success. For example
-Public roads -Public school -Police -Fire departments -Medical assistance -FDA so you don't die from food poisoning or overdosed/under dosed drugs -EPA so your water doesn't contain arsenic -etc etc etc
"Fight The Powerless" is a high-yield hit by the seminal VIP-hop band Private Equity. It has been a perennial chart topper on the BigBoard Hot Swap Singles and consistent presence on the Hot M&A Singles lists since the early 1980s. A few years later it was used as the lead-in track on P.E.'s 1987 album, Fear of a Black Monday.

I wouldn't join any club that would have me as a member, and costs $100,000 dollars to join.

I've never heard of the double-wide republicans, not even in NJ.
Now THAT'S how you do With Votes.
All of us who agree with you are just blinded by our envy.
