This is why gender-neutral single occupant toilets are so important. They're there for ANYONE who doesn't feel comfortable with the other occupants of a multi-stall gendered space...including cis women worried about a trans woman's penis.

Did you point out that a trans woman's penis isn't male genitalia? It's just genitalia. Genitalia attached to a woman is woman's genitalia, same way an arm attached to a woman is a woman's arm. That's just basic sense.

Thanks for the links!

Got an appointment for my 7-year-old on the 20th! Her little sister is still too little, but it’s still a huge relief to be able to lower her exposure that little bit more.

Some good news I just read, you don't have to wait 14 days between a flu shot and a covid booster.

Just peeking in for a minute. When things started to look grim yesterday I just stepped away I think I'm going to be scarce for a while - just too bummed out.

Glad I have a weaving project to distract me.

And now to bed, and hope for no calls tonight, or if there are any I can take care of whatever patient need on the phone.

Be good dear Wonkettes. Be kind to others and gentle with yourselves.

Exactly what needs to change. Same thing when I went for a procedure years ago--I could not get a straight answer from the provider or insurance as to how much I'd ultimately have to pay--not even "how much would it cost, ballpark, if I have to pay entirely out of pocket?" It's insanely opaque, meaning zero price competition because the consumer is in the dark until after they already owe it. Can you imagine if the grocery store charged you this way? "You'll get a bill a month after you consume the food, maybe even later, and we cannot tell you what it'll cost you but you'll owe it." How the hell can Congress even talk about health care reform without fixing this obvious problem?

WRONG. AYFKM?!? My 9yo is no idiot. She doesn’t want to wear a mask anymore. She doesn’t want to miss a trip to grandmas house for Christmas. She’s excited for her shot on Sunday like it is a visit to Disneyworld!

(If Disneyworld was located in a different state…)
