Actual rights may vary depending on skin color Last April, we brought you the insane story of Olivia Pearson, a civil rights worker and member of the city commission in Douglas, Georgia, who had been accused of voter fraud after showing a first-time voter how to use the voting machine at a polling place. The local Republican prosecutor decided to charge her with illegally assisting the voter and of falsely swearing on a form that a poll worker had asked her to sign. The jury in her trial deadlocked, so she was retried -- and granted a change of venue to another county, 60 miles away. Yesterday, the
Given that there's next-to-no evidence of any "voter fraud" whatsoever, what time and money wasting procedures should be put in place to "improve" the federal id's, which coincidentally don't exist either? I'm afraid that the alarmists and charlatans are steering the bus.
After the Republican party did everything they could to hasten the demise of American manufacturers, city by city, county by county. NOW it's time to protect our industries. All show, no go, just in time for 2018. Hopefully enough to fool enough of the idiot base.
Wait. There is a Georgia law that says if you're not illiterate or disabled you can't have help voting? The first time I voted (1988 -- Dukakis!) I messed up my ballot and there was a whole "spoiled ballot" procedure that was very embarrassing. It is not obvious. Lots of people need help voting. And I will further confess that I probably broke a law when voting in 2008 in Alabama and the very young man next to me who had never voted before leaned over and asked me to help him and I did. And he was neither illiterate nor disabled and all he wanted to do was "just vote for Barack" and I showed him that he was doing it wrong and he fixed it to do what he wanted. And this probably illegal act was a very proud moment in my life.
The most direct and simple thing the gov could do is PAY to issue an ID card to every eligible voter, as many democracies do as a matter of course, prob for a fraction of what all sides spend on voter identification at local levels. The gov could further help by issuing the same or similar cards to legal migrants for easy confirmation of their status. Overall, this would point toward merging the elections bureaucracies with the Social Security administration and ICE, whether or not this is deemed desirable
Obligatory "cunt libelz" - neither the warmth nor the depth, etc.
He was kidding around, right? With the God's punishment shit? Tell me he was kidding around.
I dont think he was kidding.
Ha ha, Ayn Rand wouldn't have tolerated tariffs on anything for a second. This is fascist stuff, not capitalism stuff.
Even better. I'd put that on my car.

My siblings all live in Georgia. I don't visit them.
But that's where the traffic thins out...
