Several Republicans also claimed the bill would supposedly undermine marriage, but somebody else's marriage is none of their damn business so the hell with quoting that nonsense.

I feel like Republicans by existing are infringing on my gay marriage.

I would have a hard time waiting on any of those shits, or really ANY Republican, regardless of religious beliefs.

It's amazing how people justify hatred in the name of Jesus. It's almost like they've never read the Bible again.

The things I learn on the Wonkette! I genuinely didn't know that. Did you know that South Carolina used to be a bastion of religious freedom? We have one of the oldest Jewish populations in the country.

Another case of egregious discrimination when poor Huckabee was asked to leave after being given a complementary cheese plate.

I think these women *were* the proto Riot Grrls. I mean, they started in the early 80s, which was well before that actually became a whole thing, right?

I'm so very glad about this!

So onto the next fight with the fascists: When will women have rights to bodily autonomy?

Some 17th century context to rule it unconstitutional...

Seven years have passed since Obergefell and we’re still waiting for that undermining of marriage to happen.

Yup. Lexington is a small city that I drive through every time I go to visit my parents. After the Huckabee incident, I stopped by the redhead one time and had dinner. I figured I heard in my business for that one.
