Personally I do not own a car anymore, it became a drag on a fixed income, even before gas got so high, with taxes and upkeep. So I am going to get a check in a few weeks, that will allow me to buy an electric scooter, as well as maybe a solar array, so no insurance besides homeowners which is affordable, and will cost less electricity than a car, and will go 30 miles on a charge, so it will get me everywhere I need to go :)

Well, if they want to pay the higher prices, let them. It's their funeral, as they say. Fuck Ted Cruz.

How much did those cost?

Depends on the type of course, gel batteries are costlier then lead/acid ones, but then again you probably want marine deep cycle ones which , again, cost more. need to take in the min/max temps as well;

At least as much as the generator. Solar fanboys never mention either storage or maintenance. When I lived in Maui I asked a solar installer how many systems were still functioning after 10 years. 90%, he said.

No one is being forced to accept the energy resulting from solar panels....

Only after I brought it up. I guarantee that $10,000 setup did not include storage. Unless it was just enough to charge a phone. Storage is at least as expensive as generation, even on utility scale.

Are you really that unfamiliar with the subject? Or just that stupidly obstinate ad wedded to being a jerk that keeps on advertising how much of a jerk you are?

I'm from Detroit myself, so I get the vibe totally. First ran into the Pretenders in the Army in Germany in the early 80's...love that Chrissie Hynde snarl!

I covered alternate energy from 1973-2011 for newspapers, and I know a lot more about it than you do. As becomes clearer from each exchange.

So, just stupid, good on you for admitting it
