My neighborhood high school is named after Woodrow Wilson, who, it turns out, was exceptionally racist, not just garden variety early 1900s racist. So, we're renaming it after a woman of color. Easy, done. Let's stop honoring these assholes.
Given how many black Americans are descended from Confederate soldiers, I think some of us should start applying. Bet those meetings would be really interesting if that happened.
