Actual, for real, moving-company-is-showing-up furniture moving day is Tuesday.
Pretty much everything except the furniture is already moved. Got a couple of carloads to do today and tomorrow, plus rearranging all the boxes so there's room to get all the furniture where it goes.

I recently learned that other other goddaughter, who'd really struggled through university and almost left to "go get a job waiting tables," managed to finish her BS in June, land a summer internship working on water sanitation issues, and will now be entering a two-years Masters program in environmental risk management. This is a kid who went from being interested in nothing to being super excited about starting a grad program and who is all over water issues like the one highlighted here.
did that excitement start when she went away to university? That what happened to me. I liked being on my own and being an adult and really enjoyed my classes and got all A - for a change.
It is just breathtaking work, honest and for truly.
I am both delighted with as well as thoroughly humbled by the incredible talent demonstrated by so many members of this unique and fierce assembly. Truly I love this place and the people here.
That is daughter LS doing her job as a Park Ranger in King's Canyon/Sequoia. She ended up with the old Subaru out there in the Socialist Republic of California.
