Completely messed up! My husband & I went to the show with friends & had the best time, only to wake up the next day to find out this happened. As details emerged it literally made me sick to my stomach! The cops made this situation 110% worse when they showed up. I really hate it.
Heartbreaking. I cannot imagine being tied down and tasered while having an asthma attack. When an attack hits me, I just want to stand up and try to breathe, and it hurts so much. I can't bare to think of what this poor young man went through. These police should be charged with murder. And, the fact that they wouldn't let his wife or mother be with him is just inhumane.

There's even a book proving this. So yes, you should care that Ms. Bland died in police custody because that same cop may hog tie you and deny you your asthma medication. Why? Because every time you ignore police brutality against black people, you simply empower a sociopath.
This made me physically ill. What if this was my husband? He is also an asthmatic, and any idiot knows you cannot safely tie a person up like that, especially someone who is already having an attack. This is a monstrous way to die! Why do we continue to defend these bully cops?
